Gehrig graduated from the US Naval Academy with a BS in German language studies. He completed a 20-year Navy career which included over 2,000 hours of operational flying as well as training, CPI, organizational design, and workforce planning assignments. During this period, he also earned an MA in HR Management & Supervision from Central Michigan University. Gehrig then earned his MBA from Kennesaw State University with a minor concentration in Human Resource Management and Leadership Development. His interests include Ancestry and current events and he currently resides near Charlotte, NC.

Gehrig’s industry experience includes transportation, manufacturing & distribution, financial data & services, consulting, and energy. Former clients or employers include Cummins, W R Grace, S&P Global, Lockheed Martin and Albemarle Corporation. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt and has earned ProSci / ADKAR Change Management and DDI Facilitator certifications.
