Juan Habed is proficient in data analytics, supply chain operations, contract negotiations, bid process and selection, process analysis, technology implementation and cost accounting. He brings to the table a solid set of multi discipline analytical and management skills enabling him to think “outside the box” when it comes to problem-solving.
Juan has an international business background working in Latin America on import/export projects with experience in industrial health, safety consulting and retail franchise management.
Juan has leadership experience overseeing supply chain operations for a glass manufacturing and distribution company which included inventory management of over 200 products and glass procurement and imports from Germany, Egypt, and Mexico. In this role, he was able to ensure lower freight costs and safety stock maintenance through the creation of a yearly forecast system with monthly adjustments based on actual sales. Juan also gained project management, accounting, and human resources experience while working with one of the biggest building materials manufacturers in the world. As a project engineer, he managed over 12 MM in capital investments ranging from facilities improvements to production line redesigns, yielding over 1 MM in annual savings. Juan then moved on to a management role overseeing plant accounting, inventory management and human resource activities.
Juan graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Universidad Americana Managua Nicaragua with a degree in Industrial Engineering and concentration in Economics.
