About Plex
Plex Systems began as an internal IT project at an automotive parts manufacturer, MSI, in 1989. The company was formed as Plexus Systems LLC in 1995, providing client/server manufacturing software based on Progress Software’s database technology. The company began offering its software via the software as a service (SaaS) model when Plexus Online was launched in 2001. In 2009, the company changed its name to Plex Systems.
Plex Online is a Cloud ERP system targeted strictly to manufacturing organizations with a specific focus on aerospace, automotive, medical devices, food and beverage, precision metal fabrication, as well as general industrial manufacturing. 100% of their revenues are derived in the manufacturing sector. Plex got their start in the automotive marketplace and has expanded out to many industries requiring product traceability.
